| We are moved into our new space at work. It's awesome and so much better than the previous! There is a river/creek right outside with a waterfall that we can view through HUGE windows. There's way more light and alot more room. Its really cool to have a fresh start especially since I just "officially started" not too long ago. I have a lot more desk space in my cube now...I dont know what to do with it.
Valentines day was stupid. I didn't do anything worth writing about. Valentines day = bitterness. :0(
Oh yes! I Just remembered we have monday off. Life is good. |

Finally got the specifics on my New job offer "Associate graphic designer" I "start" on monday--even though I've been working here since May.
So yea, i was nervous as shit but i sucked it up and asked for more than they offered me and it worked, dammit! Sheesh, who woulda thought.
I think it is a treat to be able to "read" people. I guess i'm fairly ok at it, but i would love to make it a hobby of mine to get better. I think it def. benefits you in many ways to be able to see things the way the other person you are reacting with sees things. Hmmph. Yup, that will be my new mission. Becoming a grade A people-reader.

| Yuck! We all just had to give peer feeback on everyone in the office. I hate that because I have to admit what people's weekness's are. I always feel bad. On the other hand though, I love to get constructive critisicm on my downfalls so I can improve and work on them. I think that is an essential part of anyone's professional or even personal life come to think of it. It's extrememly helpful when you get an outsiders veiw on stuff. Because you don't always see things the way other people do. This one guy is sooooo freekin nosey and I wanted to just blurt out that he needs to stop it, but instead I had to sugar coat it and say " he needs to not be so overly inquisitive" or something to that effect. I still havent gotten the details on the whole "hiring" deal. But I know I am def. hired which is awesome. I heart job security. :) |

| Holy Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very very excited today folks. Have FINALLY been offered a full time position as an "associate graphic designer" for Binney & Smith/Crayola!
No more mediocre "freelancer" this bitch is gettin paid! Change that to "paidlancer" (will have to add to list of fabricated words) This definitately calls for some major kick ass celebrating! I already called mom (she's always the first to know)...gotta go spread the good news to the rest of the people that
care (a few others)
